"MOST SADISTIC MAN" ever.
1920: "He" bought a yacht, Akista with stolen money sailed south to Newyork city. He befriended with sailors lured them back from bar to his yacht. Usually they were heavily drunk and hence he was strong, he overpowered them midwaters. The victims were there only to be sodomized and murdered with 0.35 caliber pistol. He threw all the dead-bodies in the waters. The spree for that period ended only after Akista sank near New Jersey. Out of those victims, 2 were able to escape to unknown.
In October, cops arrested him for the charges of burglary and possession of gun. He was sent to serve 6 months of jail.
1921: He left to Angola on a ship and abducted a 11-12 years of Angolan boy. He overpowered him and punched rigorously on head. The blows were powerful enough to break and displace the brain in side the skull. He saw that the boy was in convulsion fits and the brain was coming out of ears. In his own words it can be described as "His brains were coming out of his ears when I left him and he will never be any deader."
He bought a lugar pistol from local market and hired a boat with 6 rovers. Midwaters, he killed all of them with gun and threw the body only to be eaten by crocodiles. When investigated, there were no remains found.
1922: He returned to USA and resumed his spree with murders of 2 small boys. He raped one of them and killed one of them by dropping heavy stone on his face multiple times. Later that year, the other boy was strangled with bare hands until he was dead.
1923: He stole the yacht from Chief of Police, New Rochelle and lured a 15 year old boy by offering a job on yacht but raped him instead.
One of his escaped victim (formerly workmate), who saved himself jumping overboard and swimming to the shore, informed cops about the strange behavior of "Captain O'Leary". Cops arrested him and came to know about a dozen of alias names of O'Leary. Court slapped him with sentence of 5 years imprisonment.
When he was released, he resumed the terror and killed many men even thereafter.
August 1928: He got arrested for stealing jewelry and money from dentist, but this time under another alias name. Cops interrogated him and whatever he said...left the cops and whole ruling in dark depressions.
Interrogation: His original name was Carl Panzram. Within August, he killed three young boys and not only that he worked upon the plans for mass killings and committed other mayhems. Carl mentioned about one instance when he poisoned water supply of town with arsenic and scuttling of British warship in USA to instigate the war.
Verdict and aftermath: The court sentenced him with 25 years of life imprisonment. When he was sent to Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary, he warned the warden Robert Warnke, "I'll kill the first man that bothers me".
Despite of many warnings and enraged statements by Carl, Warnke didn't stop bullying and hence Carl hit multiple times in his head with iron bar until Warnke was dead.
Trial: Court penalized him with death sentence. When human right activists asked if he would like to go for any appeal, Carl refused and said, "The only thanks you and your kind will ever get from me for your efforts on my behalf is that I wish you all had one neck and that I had my hands on it."
Execution: On September 5, 1930 he was to be hanged until death. He spat on the face of hangman and said, "Yes. Hurry it up, you Hoosier bastard; I could kill a dozen men while you're screwing around!"
His grave can be found in Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary Cemetery without any name rather with his prison number, 31614.
